Our history
Seven decades of growth and acquisition.
Each chapter added capability, certifications and reach — while keeping engineering and fabrication in Lockport, NY.

1955–1976
Founded in a 250 sq. ft. garage in Lockport, NY. Expanded by acquiring Lockport Engineering and Fabrication Co. and obtaining an ASME Code Stamp — the quality foundation that underpins every product we ship today.

1976–1999
Doubled the facility to 80,000 sq. ft. Ownership changed hands as the business grew; the Rotary Company was acquired, broadening the product range and customer base.

1999–2013
Continued strategic acquisitions, including IPAC in 2004 — adding world-leading industrial cooling products to the DMI lineup. Achieved ISO, PP and European PED certifications plus China and Korea Code Stamps, opening international markets.
